Adam was a disc jockey. He worked with artists such as Will Smith, Papa Roach, Madonna, and Travis Barker, drummer for Blink-182. On September 18, 2008, Adam and Travis were the sole survivors of a plane crash in South Carolina. After their recovery, Adam and Travis played on the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards.
In 2009, he was working on a new reality show fo MTV. The show, which finally aired in October, is called "Gone Too Far"and deals with Adam helping others to overcome addiction issues. Adam himself had been clean and sober for over a decade. Tragically, he relapsed and died in his NYC apartment on August 28, of an overdose of multiple drugs.

I hear that if you cheated death, death is inevatible. Well, I found this to be true, see, I lost my son just three months ago, he just turned 24, he also cheated death and I have read this over and over again. God has a plan for you and my son, this is the only thing that makes any sense to me.
